2008 School of Public Health Commencement

The School of Public Health commencement ceremony was held at 5 p.m., Monday, May 19, 2008, at Northrop Auditorium.

The commencement address 'Ten Things to Remember' was delivered by Sanne Magnan, Minnesota Commissioner of Health. She spoke about the value, challenges, and responsibilities of public health leadership, and gave helpful tips to the new graduates on how to succeed in both their career as well as their personal lives.

The ceremony ended with EnHS student Stephanie Ball leading the recitation of the Public Health Professionals Pledge. A reception for graduates and guests immediately followed on the Northrup Plaza.
