The Robert Wood Johnson Health & Society Scholars Program is designed to help build the nation's capacity for research, leadership, and policy change in regard to the multiple determinants of population health. To be eligible, scholars must have completed doctoral training
by the time of entry into the two-year program (August or Sept-
ember 2009). Scholars will receive an annual stipend of $86,000 in year one
and $89,000 in year two of the program.

The National Research Council of the National Academies is seeking applicants for its 2008 Research Associateship Programs. The Global Health Fellows Program (GHFP) has a number of exciting paid summer 2008 internships with the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). NEW NANOTECHNOLOGY SEMINAR PA 8790: Nanotechnology Society Hubert H. Humphrey Institute Fall 2008 2 credits
This course will take an interdisciplinary approach to examining the interactions of nanotechnology with society. It will draw upon a diverse set of guest speakers and readings to illustrate legal, public policy, social, economic, and ethical issues surrounding nanotechnology.
